At A Glance: Middle School

Pangyo middle school principal Jim Slaid offers a quick look at the good things students and teachers are accomplishing!

As the end of the third quarter is quickly approaching, it has been an exciting semester thus far. We have welcomed a number of new students at the MS, with our students being typically welcoming of those who have joined us. Our students are doing amazing work: practicing persuasive writing and crafting convincing arguments in English, designing roller coasters in Math, competing at top notch festivals in Band, Choir, and Strings; crafting stunning visual work in the Art classes, and diving through the creative process in Design class.

Rockets made in Erik McDonel’s Design class

If you spend any time in the middle school, you will find the awesome happening every single day. Take some time to stop by and listen to and share with the students. Learning is a community experience and our students keep the community strong. I am reminded each day that I get to spend time with impressive faculty and staff and even more talented and impressive students! I cannot wait to see what the rest of the semester brings.
